Last Friday, September 27th, the University of Burgos held for the first time the European Researchers Night, organized by the Scientific Culture Unit (UBUinvestiga).
This event, organized simultaneously all around Europe, funded within the Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) programme and dedicated to bringing science and research closer to society, took place in La Estación civic space.
During the event, the Building Engineering Group (GIIE) from UBU as Project coordinator, conducted two workshops aimed at children of different age ranges (4 to 7 and 8 to 10 years old) about the design of new building materials made out from waste.
In addition, the visitors could learn about the SUSKIDS Project through explanative posters by the Project coordinators, guided by a student of the Special Education Centre Estela of Asociación Síndrome de Down who acted as monitor all along the activity.
