Welcome to the first Multiplier Event of SUSKIDS!

After the work done in the last months, University of Burgos as SUSKIDS coordinator has organised the first Multiplier Event of the project, which will be held on January 29th at the Polytechnic School (Milanera Campus) of the University.

The Event is aimed at presenting the Toolkit for recycling skills knowledge transfer to Down Syndrome Individuals, which is the first output of this project that aims at reinforcing social inclusion and employment opportunities of this collective while promoting autonomous learning in the field of sustainability and building with recycled materials.

Apart of attending conferences and roundtables with experts in the field of education, educative technologies, and recycling with building wastes, the participants in this event will have the chance of taking part in a practical workshop for designing new building materials using industrial waste.

At the end of the event, participants will be invited to enjoy a Spanish wine and a guided tour in different monuments of the City of Burgos. The event can be attended at no cost, and only an email to the organizers is required to register (lalameda@ubu.es) stating if the participation in the workshop, the lunch and the touristic visit is desired.

Don’t miss it!
