The partners of the SUSKIDS project met in November 2018 at the University of Burgos (UBU)

The Erasmus+ project “SUSKIDS-Enabling professionals and families to transfer sustainable knowledge and skills to Down Syndrome  individuals”, leaded by the Research Group Building Engineering (GIIE) at the University of Burgos (UBU), started on September 2018, funded within the call “KA201-Strategic Partnership in School Education”.

During the meeting, the partners organised the tasks to be carried out in the following months, to get ready  the materials, methods and resources. Those will be compiled in the form of a Toolkit, aimed at families, teachers and professionals in the field of education as the first product of the project.

Moreover, the partners shared their points of view regarding the functions and features to be presented by the second project output: a Virtual Learning Environment for students with Down Syndrome. In addition, the partners agreed to select the project logo among the different ideas presented by the project coordinator.

At the end of the meeting, the Consortium visited the facilities of the Research Group of Building Engineering, where they learnt about the results obtained in the field of construction with recycled materials and the educational activities that the Research Group is already carrying out with schools that will be also conducted with children with Down Syndrome.
